Now that football season is over, it is time to look forward to spring training. It has been increasable to watch what David Ortiz has done the last few seasons. This painting is a small 8x8" oil catching the slugger in action. I changed a few things from the photo to make it my own. I really wanted to capture the anticipation in the crowd watching the ball in air along with Ortiz in action. I was happy with the results.
